UNITAR-WAIFEM Gateway

In August 2014, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM) renewed their long standing partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to allow greater coordination and sharing of expertise and networks between the two institutions.

In addition, UNITAR and WAIFEM also signed an agreement in November 2015 to jointly deliver diploma courses primarily for finance officials from WAIFEM member countries and beyond. Other initiatives include language training to allow greater integration in the design and delivery of capacity development activities in West Africa and beyond.

This gateway provides a space to feature the joint initiatives of UNITAR and WAIFEM.

Course Title: e-Learning Certificate/Diploma course in French Language
Course Date: 18 July to 9 September 2016
Registration Status: Open
Fee: $3,500 per participant (covers cost of tuition, learning materials mentoring and accommodation at WAIFEM headquarters for 2 weeks)
